Information technology consultant Unisys on Monday denied a powerful House committee’s allegations that it failed to follow proper computer security standards and covered up hacking incidents on Department of Homeland Security networks. “The allegation that Unisys did not properly install essential security systems is incorrect,” the Blue Bell, Pa.-based company said in a press release. “We routinely follow prescribed security protocols and have properly reported incidents to the customer in accordance with those protocols.”
