Motorola signs deal to acquire Soundbuzz

(TP) Motorola has signed a definitive agreement to acquire pan-Asian music provider Soundbuzz. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is subject to customary conditions and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2008. The acquisition of Soundbuzz will allow Motorola to expand MotoMusic beyond China, into India, southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
