Authorize.Net Launches New Developer Center

CyberSource Corporation (Nasdaq: CYBS) today announced that its Authorize.Net small business solution has launched an upgraded Authorize.Net Developer Center, a Web site dedicated to the developer community. The new site, located at http://developer.authorize.net, includes information to help developers:
Maximize revenue opportunities through the Authorize.Net Affiliate Reseller Program;
Engage in valuable peer-to-peer support via a new community forum;
Market their solutions using the Authorize.Net Certified Solutions Program;
Access useful information including integration guides, sample code and easy-to-use troubleshooting tools.

Authorize.Net Affiliate Program
The Authorize.Net Affiliate Reseller Program provides developers and businesses with a valuable revenue source when they refer their merchant customers to Authorize.Net for a payment gateway solution. Any business that serves merchant customers can become an affiliate reseller–shopping cart developers, point-of-sale, wireless and Web developers, Internet service providers and more. Authorize.Net provides extensive support for its affiliate resellers, including sales assistance, merchant billing, and free customer support. Prospective affiliate resellers can find additional information and an application for the program on the new Developer Center.
Community Forum
The new Developer site features community message boards designed to provide a peer-to-peer support and interaction channel for developers participating in the Authorize.Net affiliate program, certification programs or using an Authorize.Net Application Programming Interface (API) to integrate their products and solutions to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway. The boards are open to anyone and simply require a brief registration.
Authorize.Net Certification Programs
Authorize.Net offers three developer and solution provider certification programs. Certification can help developers and solution providers promote their business while gaining credibility and differentiating themselves from their competitors. Certifications are based upon established criteria and determined by the Authorize.Net Integration Services team. The three certification programs are:
Certified Solution Provider – For developers and solution providers who offer products that directly integrate to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway.
Certified Developer – For developers and solution providers who provide custom integrations for merchant Web sites or products.
Certified Hosting Partner – For companies that provide hosting services for Authorize.Net merchants.

Integration Tools
The Authorize.Net Developer Center also includes extensive information for connecting to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway, including implementation guides, sample code and troubleshooting tools. Developers also have free access to a test environment that provides everything they need for testing their integration.
