SigmaPhone has extended “FDA Drugs”, its Flagship App, for Android Platform.
FDA Drugs provides information and content which have been evaluated and approved by FDA. It has complete list of FDA approved drugs, including ingredient, dosage, form, market status and etc. Its therapeutic equivalents and/or official package insert can be found if there is an FDA approved one.
It also enables direct search for therapeutically equivalent generic drugs for brand name drugs. It completely covers FDA’s ‘Approved Drug Products with Therapeutic Equivalence Evaluations’ (a.k.a. The Orange Book) and Electronic Orange Book (a.k.a.EOB).
